The "Unpardonable Sin"

As we all know, our modern churches believe and teach a doctrine known as the "unpardonable sin", and it is believed that this sin will never (yes, NEVER) be forgiven by God. But is this what Jesus Christ truly meant when He talked about this ONE particular sin? By reading the KJ Bible and most other translations it would "appear" that this is indeed what Jesus Christ meant. But as we shall see in this article, when Jesus Christ made these incredible statements concerning the so-called "unpardonable sin" there are very important theological clues that are "hidden" and "under the surface" of the English translated words of these incredible statements of Jesus Christ.
It is indeed very "strange", but it is NOT a coincidence that our modern churches generally ignore and do NOT quote or talk about WHAT the INSPIRED Greek scriptures say about the so-called "unpardonable sin". Our modern churches believe and teach in the manner that they do because they are INSPIRED to play a major "religious" ROLE to be a part of an evil deceived world by the divine PURPOSE of a sovereign God!
I believe the honest and sincere study of the meanings of the original INSPIRED words in the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts should be our primary interest and concern in this physical life. Why am I making this very "unusual" statement? Simply because theological deception is a spiritual enemy to all of us! Please understand; the original inspired Hebrew and Greek scriptures explain the precious truths of God; which is knowledge that FREES us from the religious "snares" of this evil deceived world! IF the majority of people in our nation would believe and RESPOND from the HEART to the precious truths of God then we would NOT see all the division, confusion, and all the WRONG that our deceived nation experiences!
The apostle John WARNS true believers NOT to love the world, and ALSO not to love the "things" of the world (1John 2:15). "Things" does NOT have to mean material "things", but could mean spiritual "things" such as the spiritual deceptions that this world has generally ACCEPTED from our modern churches. This is WHY it would be in our BEST theological interests to NOT have an ACTIVE part in ANY of the world’s deceived churches!
This spiritual enemy of theological deception can be DEFEATED by studying and believing the "hidden" Hebrew and Greek meanings behind certain English translated words in our KJ Bibles. Strong’s Concordance and certain Lexicons are linked to the English words translated in our KJ Bibles that explain these Hebrew and Greek meanings that are hidden and "under the surface" of certain English translated words.
I want to repeat; theological deception is an ENEMY to our spiritual thinking process; which keeps us from knowing the precious truths of God, and keeps us from knowing the TRUE plan of salvation, and the divine PLAN of the AGES! Since our modern churches have a major influence on many millions of people in our nation we can only imagine the POWER that our modern churches would have if (yes, IF) they would teach the TRUTH about the divine PLAN of the AGES; which points to the TRUTH of the so-called "unpardonable sin", as we shall see.
We are a nation of churches, and our churches have FAILED in their duty and responsibility to teach CORRECT biblical doctrines. Sure, our modern churches teach the importance of believing in Jesus Christ, and they teach good fruits of morality in which a merciful God does HONOR. The good constructive things that our modern churches teach and are involved with are NOT in vain. But generally there is NO sincere CONCERN that they might be WRONG in how and what they believe and teach about the TRUE plan of salvation of a sovereign God, and ALSO about the so-called "unpardonable sin"!
But again I want to repeat; because of a divine PURPOSE our modern churches are driven, compelled, and INSPIRED to play a major "religious" ROLE of deception to fulfill this temporary evil world/age of deception! A sovereign God in total authority, power, and control of His creation of mankind has a PLAN of the AGES to restore (SAVE) ALL mankind, and a major part of that PLAN is for this evil world/age to experience all "religious" deceptions! Therefore this would indeed explain WHY our modern churches generally do NOT consider theological deception as a spiritual ENEMY to them! So please understand; theological deception is designed to "distort" the doctrines about the TRUE God for the divine purpose so that our modern churches will be driven, compelled, and INSPIRED to teach "distorted" doctrines about the TRUE God!
We are a nation that has LOST its way simply because we have ignored and rejected the right ways and principles of God. The obvious things that are EVIL we now call them GOOD, and the obvious things that are GOOD we now call them EVIL; which means we as a nation are fulfilling Isaiah 5:20….
KJV Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Our corrupt LIBERAL government now has the blatant disregard for our nation’s "supreme law of the land" known as our constitution; which causes a lawless liberal government! We are truly a confused and divided nation that has come a "long way" from the time we generally HONORED the right ways of God. We now even promote and encourage sexual perversion, and our corrupt LIBERAL government has to legislate HOW to define marriage! This is incredible!
But this is what a corrupt LIBERAL government of a deceived nation DOES when its people generally depart from the RIGHT ways and principles of God. We are told that alternative "life styles" are now the "norm" and MUST be accepted by all of our people. Yes, it is indeed very shameful that even some of our "spiritually enlightened" churches have accepted and welcomed these sexually perverted "life styles" right into their churches and also behind the pulpits!
The major point is this; there HAS to be a CAUSE for all these many evils and all that is WRONG in our deceived nation. That CAUSE is that spiritual deceptions are being taught INSTEAD of the precious truths of God, and the TRUE plan of salvation. But of course, our modern churches DO believe that they ARE teaching about the TRUE plan of salvation, and this is generally WHY church-going people DO believe that they DO know the TRUE plan of salvation. In their minds, their beloved KJ Bibles tells them everything they "need" to know about the precious truths of God, and the TRUE plan of salvation. Yes, most church-going people are generally "comfortable" with what they believe, and theological deception seems to be of NO concern to them. This is WHY they generally have NO desire to honestly study and then BELIEVE the meanings of the original inspired words found in the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts.
The problem is that church-going people generally put their TRUST in the English translated words found in their beloved KJ Bibles. So when it comes to the "unpardonable sin" millions of church-goers read the English translated words in their beloved KJ Bibles, and then they BELIEVE that this is ONE certain sin that will NEVER be forgiven by God. But these millions of church-goers are NOT AWARE that this is NOT AT ALL what is plainly stated in the original INSPIRED scriptures of the Greek manuscripts that correctly explains the "unpardonable sin"!
If (yes, IF) the TRUE knowledge of the "unpardonable sin" was taught in our modern churches then this would totally DESTROY our so-called "christian" belief systems! Yes, our so-called "christian" traditions and teachings would disappear, and be replaced by a pleasant theological "breath of fresh air" on the TRUE plan of salvation by a merciful sovereign God!
Our Modern churches generally teach that the "unpardonable sin" PROVES that the billions of unbelieving souls will be separated from a merciful God, and LOST "for ever" in torment in a place called "hell". But just maybe the TRUE knowledge of the "unpardonable sin" PROVES just the OPPOSITE!
As we shall see, the "unpardonable sin" plays a major ROLE in TWO ages of the divine plan of the ages, and this would be HOW this ONE certain sin would PROVE the eventual salvation of ALL mankind. But this ONE certain sin MUST be forgiven by a merciful God, but NOT until these TWO ages have fulfilled their divine PURPOSE. So from this theological premise if (yes, IF) the "unpardonable sin" will indeed be FORGIVEN by a merciful God AFTER these TWO ages; then if (yes, IF) we are HONEST with this possible theological premise this would indeed "pave the way" for the eventual salvation of ALL mankind during FUTURE ages of the divine plan of the AGES!
As we shall see, the TRUE knowledge of the "unpardonable sin" is "hidden" and "under the surface" of the English translated words in our KJ Bibles, and I will also display several other translations (other than the KJ translation) that do indeed CORRECTLY explain WHAT this ONE certain sin is all about. A sovereign God has made certain translations available in today’s deceived world that does indeed translate the Hebrew and Greek meanings into the CORRECT English words.
There simply is NO excuse for NOT knowing the meanings of these original inspired words since they are easily and readily available in today’s deceived world, such as Strong’s Concordance, Lexicons, Bible dictionaries, and certain translations. But WHY do most translations NOT correctly translate these original inspired meanings into our English Bibles? This question is directly related as to WHY Jesus Christ always (yes, ALWAYS) spoke in "parables" to the multitude, or to the general public of His day. Notice Matthew 13:34….
(KJV) All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
The word "parable" is taken from two Greek words (G3850 and G3846); which means a "fictitious narrative" that is "thrown alongside". Therefore it could be said that Jesus Christ spoke stories of FICTION that were "thrown alongside" the precious truths of God. But WHY would Jesus Christ do that? Open your Bibles and read the answer for yourself in Matthew 13:10-15.
Jesus Christ explained that it was NOT GIVEN to the general public of His day to understand the mysteries of the kingdom. But WHY was the understanding NOT given? Jesus Christ explained that IF they were to understand then they would be "converted", and Christ would then HAVE to spiritually HEAL their deceived minds. It simply was NOT their time to be "converted" and to be spiritually HEALED of their deceptions! I believe this was WHY Jesus Christ generally did NOT dispute their belief in REAL personal "devils" and "unclean spirits".
They had closed their "eyes" and "ears", and therefore they were NOT ABLE to "see" (no spiritual "vision"), and were not able to "hear" (NOT ABLE to "understand") the mysteries of the kingdom and the precious truths of God that were "hidden" in the parables that Christ spoke to them. This theological lesson for us today is that the precious truths of God are NOT to be shared or talked about without Godly WISDOM as to HOW the precious truths of God would be received by deceived hearts and minds. I believe that certain English translated words in our beloved KJ Bibles could be called words written as "parables" that are "thrown alongside" the "hidden" precious truths of God. They are "hidden" simply because they are very precious, and therefore they cannot be easily found!
Yes, this is WHY the precious truths of God are deliberately "hidden" as secrets and mysteries that CANNOT be understood when reading our beloved KJ Bibles by our "normal" and natural way of thinking. By divine DESIGN these precious truths are "hidden" and "under the surface" of certain English words that are translated into our beloved KJ Bibles. Our God-given WISDOM and common sense should tell us that IF the precious truths of God could be easily found in our beloved KJ Bibles then they would NOT be precious anymore!
So please understand; there MUST be an honest effort made to FIND these precious truths of God in the SAME manner as an honest effort must be made in finding PRECIOUS diamonds, stones, and gems hidden in secret places in our physical world! SPIRITUAL "gems" are treasures of spiritual TRUTH that are ALSO "hidden" in secret places in our beloved KJ Bibles! But the REASON there seems to be NO interest or desire by church-goers to honestly study the original INSPIRED scriptures to FIND these SPIRITUAL "gems" of precious TRUTH is simply because these church-goers generally are NOT aware of them!
This is an English speaking nation and generally we are NOT familiar with the Hebrew and Greek languages, and we also do NOT speak in Hebrew and Greek. But the meanings of the words in Hebrew and Greek are NOT secrets and mysteries and they CAN be found, but again, an honest effort MUST be made to FIND these meanings of spiritual treasures of truth.
In the minds of most church-going people the "unpardonable sin" will "for ever" keep ALL unbelievers from receiving salvation. This is why (it is believed) that God will cast ALL unbelievers in a place called "hell" to suffer in torment "for ever", simply because (it is believed) that ALL unbelievers did NOT have this ONE certain sin forgiven for them.
TRUE theology is BASED on the forgiveness of God, but it is incredible that most modern churches believe this forgiveness will only be effective by a "free will" choice made by a very FEW believing souls. But (it is believed) the rest of mankind is DOOMED "for ever" in a place called "hell" simply because this ONE certain sin will NEVER be forgiven for the rest of mankind by a merciful God. This is indeed spiritual Insanity if (yes, IF) we want to be honest and USE our God-given common sense!
Our modern churches have to confess that Jesus Christ was the propitiation (atonement) for the sins of the whole world, and "atonement" does indeed refer to pardon and forgiveness.
1John 2:2 KJV And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Either a merciful God will pardon and forgive the whole world of all (yes, ALL) sin or He will NOT! The dilemma for our modern churches to explain is WHY Jesus Christ’s atonement was NOT effective for this ONE certain sin to be forgiven by a merciful God. But does this describe the TRUE nature and character of a merciful God that will NEVER pardon and forgive the whole world of just ONE certain sin? But our modern churches have to CONFESS that God’s mercy endures "for ever"....
Psalms 107:1 KJV O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
By His very NATURE a sovereign God wants to SHOW His mercy, but from the spiritual premise of our modern churches God’s mercy will be DENIED "for ever" to the billions of unsaved souls that will be in torment "for ever" in a place called "hell"! The utter SHAM, fraud, and deception of our modern churches is that they believe that God will SHOW His mercy for ONLY a very FEW souls that used their "free will" to choose salvation.
The phrase, "His mercy endureth for ever" is found forty one times in the Old Testament, and the term, "for ever" (H5769) means a "concealed" point of past or future TIME that will VANISH. Please understand; the MISLEADING term, "for ever" has to do with past or future TIME; which does NOT mean eternity simply because the spiritual realm of eternity does NOT VANISH! Therefore it could be explained that God’s mercy endures for all TIME and for all AGES, and it will then VANISH simply because it will no longer be NEEDED!
God’s mercy endures ONLY during the times and ages of sinful mankind; it does NOT endure for eternity simply because man’s sinful existence also DOES NOT endure for eternity! During the coming ages most of mankind will be resurrected for judgment, chastisement, and correction from a merciful God, which is WHY man’s sinful condition DOES NOT LAST "for ever"!
"In Adam" ALL mankind will DIE, but "even so" (or in this way) ALL mankind will eventually be "in Christ" to be made ALIVE….
1 Corinthians 15:22 KJV For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
When all AGES have served their divine purpose then and ONLY then will ALL mankind be "in Christ" to be "made alive", and therefore God’s mercy will VANISH since it will no longer be NEEDED! But from the deceptive premise of our modern churches God’s mercy is ONLY for a FEW select souls since the rest of mankind did NOT have ONE certain sin forgiven for them. Either God’s mercy includes ALL mankind or it doesn’t!
Again I mention that our modern churches have to CONFESS that God’s mercy endures "for ever" (for eternity)! But the incredible dilemma and IRONY for our modern churches would mean that God’s MERCY would indeed INCLUDE all unbelievers since they are in torment in a place called "hell" for ETERNITY!
Please understand, from the deceptive premise of our modern churches the spiritual tragedy is that ALL unbelievers did NOT experience the mercy of God simply because (it is believed) this ONE certain sin will NEVER be forgiven for ALL unbelievers. But the question is; were these billions of unbelieving souls even aware (yes, AWARE) that they committed this terrible "unpardonable sin" that will NEVER be pardoned for them! Unbelievers do NOT believe in inspired scripture, so of course they would NOT be aware of this terrible ONE certain sin. So WHY would a merciful God hold them accountable for committing this terrible ONE certain sin that they simply were NOT aware of? That is a very good question! But our modern "spiritually enlightened" churches ignore this question, but this question is crucial and imperative if we are to theologically "uncover" what the "unpardonable sin" is all about!
Now it is time to "uncover" the "hidden" Greek meanings behind the English translated words in our beloved KJ Bibles that speak of the "unpardonable sin". I will display the KJV first and will make my comments on these two following KJ scriptures before we carefully look at and compare several other translations that speak of the "unpardonable sin"….
Matthew 12:31-32 (KJV) Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. 32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
Mark 3:28-30 (KJV) Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: 29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation: 30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
Jesus Christ explained very clearly that all manner (yes, ALL MANNER) of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven, but then Christ "seemed" to contradict himself. I want to suggest that just maybe ALL MANNER of sin would logically have to INCLUDE the "unpardonable sin". But from the deceptive theological premise of our modern churches the "unpardonable sin" would not (yes, NOT) be included with ALL manner of sin. Either Jesus Christ truly meant ALL MANNER of sin or He didn’t!
Our modern churches "conveniently" ignore that Jesus Christ explained very clearly the TIME FRAME when the "unpardonable sin" will NOT be forgiven. I want to point out that Jesus Christ did NOT use the term, "unpardonable". That term was "invented" by the carnal hearts of "christian" men; which leads church-going people to believe that this ONE certain sin can NEVER be altered simply because God has made it "unpardonable" FOR EVER! In other words, it is believed that this ONE certain sin has eternal consequences!
But as we shall see, that is NOT AT ALL what Jesus Christ TRULY said! Jesus Christ used the term, "not be forgiven" and "not be" does NOT have to mean in the sense of NEVER! "Not be" could mean that this ONE certain sin has a time limit WHEN it will "not be" forgiven, and indeed Jesus Christ clarified the TIME frame and limit when this ONE certain sin will "not be forgiven". Jesus Christ said, "neither in this world, neither in the world to come" (Matthew 12:32). The term, "world" is the Greek word "aion" (G165), which properly means an AGE.
Our modern churches will confess that "world" could indeed mean an age, but then they also generally believe and teach that the "world to come" is the LAST world (age), or simply the never-ending ETERNAL age in which there will be no more ages. Therefore this is WHY (it is believed) that the "unpardonable sin" will NEVER be forgiven. But using our God-given wisdom and common sense the term, "eternal age" contradicts ITSELF, simply because the spiritual realm of "eternity" has NOTHING whatsoever to do with TIME and the AGES! The apostle Paul wrote of "ages to come" (plural)….
Ephesians 2:7 KJV That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
There would be more ages "to come" from the TIME that Jesus Christ spoke of TWO "worlds" (TWO ages). Notice John 1:17….
KJV For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Christ explained that the "unpardonable sin" is only for "this world/age" (the time of Christ), which could be the AGE of the temporary laws of Moses and the prophets, and the "world/age to come" could be the AGE of GRACE and TRUTH (not the laws given by Moses); which is this age we live in NOW. This would be the time LIMIT of the "unpardonable sin", which would NOT include the "ages to come" (Eph 2:7). These are the TWO ages that this ONE certain sin will NOT be forgiven, but in the "ages to come" (plural) would mean that it WILL be forgiven. Only THEN will this ONE certain sin be included with ALL manner of sin and blasphemy (Matt 12:31) that shall be forgiven!
But "Houston we have a problem", and the "problem" is that Mark 3:29 (KJV) implies that this ONE certain sin will NEVER be forgiven! So from a "translated viewpoint" there is an apparent contradiction with Matthew and Mark as to WHEN this ONE certain sin will NOT be forgiven. But the original inspired Greek scriptures do NOT contradict!
This translated "difficulty" can be easily solved if we "uncover" the Greek meaning that is hidden "under the surface" of the English translated word "never" found in our beloved KJ Bibles. Using Strong’s Concordance my KJ Bible shows that four Greek words are connected with the English word "never", and one of the words is (G165), which properly means an AGE. Carefully read and BELIEVE the CORRECT translation of Mark 3:29….
(Rotherham) But, whosoever shall revile against the Holy Spirit, hath no forgiveness, unto times age-abiding,—but is guilty of an age-abiding sin:
The key words are; "unto times age-abiding". In other words, this ONE certain sin will ABIDE and NOT be forgiven during the times of TWO world/ages, as Christ explained. The phrase, "danger of eternal damnation" (KJV of Mark 3:29) does NOT mean damnation (or judgment) that lasts for eternity! Yes of course, this ONE certain sin ABIDES only for these TWO world/ages, so therefore the GUILT of this ONE certain sin ALSO abides ONLY for these TWO world/ages! Here are several translations of Matthew 12:32, and again carefully read and BELIEVE what these scriptures are truly saying….
(Rotherham) And, whosoever shall speak a word against the Son of Man, it shall be forgiven him,—but, whosoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in this age, or the coming.
(CLV) And whosoever may be saying a word against the Son of Mankind, it will be pardoned him, yet whoever may be saying aught against the holy spirit, it shall not be pardoned him, neither in this eon nor in that which is impending."
(ESV) And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
(WNT) And whoever shall speak against the Son of Man may obtain forgiveness; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, neither in this nor in the coming age shall he obtain forgiveness."
(YLT) And whoever may speak a word against the Son of Man it shall be forgiven to him, but whoever may speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this age, nor in that which is coming.
Notice that these translations DO NOT mention anything about "eternal damnation", or anything about the "unpardonable sin" NEVER being pardoned! Yes of course, the "unpardonable sin" IS the sin of "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit". Most of us know that the term, "blasphemy" simply means "evil speaking" about God and about the HOLY things of God; such as the HOLY SPIRIT of God. Again, carefully read and BELIEVE two other translations of Mark 3:29-30….
(Young’s LT) 29-30 but whoever may speak evil in regard to the Holy Spirit hath not forgiveness--to the age, but is in danger of age-during judgment;' 30 because they said, `He hath an unclean spirit.'
(Concordant LV) 29-30 yet whoever should be blaspheming against the holy spirit is having no pardon for the eon, but is liable to the eonian penalty for the sin-" 30 for they said, "An unclean spirit has he."
Mark 3:30 explains WHY Jesus Christ mentioned the sin of "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" in the first place. It was BECAUSE the Pharisees accused Jesus Christ of having an UNCLEAN SPIRIT. This is very important to understand simply because this was why (yes, WHY) Jesus Christ responded with these statements! So please understand; accusing Jesus Christ of having an unclean spirit IS the sin of "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit"; which therefore IS also the "unpardonable" sin. The Pharisees might as well have called God’s Holy Spirit an unclean spirit, which is the height and evil of blasphemy!
So the question is; WHY did the Pharisees accuse Christ of having an unclean spirit? The Pharisees were the religious leaders of the Jews, and Christ was a real threat to them, and this was WHY they opposed and accused Christ at every opportunity they could. They witnessed the miracles of Christ, and they KNEW that Christ was NOT just any ordinary man, but a special "man of God". Yes, they knew that no man could do what Christ did "except God be with him", as Nicodemus said….
John 3:2 (KJV) The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Nicodemus was also a religious leader, and he came to Jesus by NIGHT so as to NOT be SEEN with Jesus! He included himself with the religious leaders by saying, "we (yes, WE) know that thou art a teacher come from God". The Pharisees KNEW that Christ came from God, but they did NOT know WHO Jesus Christ TRULY was; which was God in the flesh! But from their CARNAL human viewpoint Christ was still "only" just a man, but even as "only" a man they KNEW Christ came from God, therefore they KNEW His power came from the Holy Spirit.
So WHY did they accuse Christ of having an unclean spirit when they KNEW Christ’s POWER came from the Holy Spirit? They were driven and INSPIRED to NOT compromise (or NOT give up) their religious POWER by accepting the teachings of Jesus Christ! Yes, they were INSPIRED to NOT allow Jesus Christ to REPLACE the Pharisee religion with the RIGHT teachings of God! This is WHY they wanted to kill Christ, and also WHY they accused Christ (as only a man) of using the "power" of an unclean spirit. The Pharisees were in a real dilemma of either confessing that Christ’s teachings were of God, but then they would LOSE their power as religious LEADERS, or they could accuse Christ of having an unclean spirit; which they did!
The Pharisees did NOT trap Christ in His speaking; it was Christ that trapped them! Christ said they were "guilty of an age-abiding sin", and also "liable to the eonian penalty" (Rotherham and Concordant LV) for committing this ONE certain sin that would NOT be forgiven by God for TWO ages; which was the world/AGE at the time of Christ, and the world/AGE to come. Therefore salvation is NOT POSSIBLE during these TWO ages for certain religious-minded men that will KNOWINGLY speak evil of God and to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, and this is the SAME as accusing Christ of having an unclean spirit!
Just maybe Jesus Christ intended that this ONE certain sin be applied to ONLY the religious-minded Pharisees of Christ’s day, and therefore ALSO to certain "modern-day" Pharisees that have this SAME religious mind-set. But as we have seen, this ONE certain sin will NOT be held against these certain evil religious-minded men for eternity, but will eventually be forgiven by a merciful God that indeed has mercy that endures for ALL time and for ALL ages! This is the crux and the most essential point of what the "unpardonable sin" is all about!
So who are the "modern-day Pharisees" (yes, MODERN-DAY "Pharisees")? That question leads to this question; what is the "modern day Pharisee" religion, and what type of people today believe in and practice this type of religion that INSPIRES a certain HATRED toward Jesus Christ? Some people today believe that the term, "Pharisee" identifies a RACE of people that are known as the "seed of the serpent" (Genesis 3:15). But the term, "seed" (H2233 and H2232) can be the symbolic act of "sowing time" or "planting" a spiritual "seed" (NOT a physical seed) in the HEARTS (not in the womb) that CAUSES this evil "seed" to compel and INSPIRE certain evil men to carry out all kinds of evil and deception to fulfill Gen 3:15!
I believe the Pharisees of Christ’s day were of the "seed-line" of physical ISRAEL, but it was their RELIGION (not their RACE) that symbolically "sowed" and "planted" a "seed/spirit" of rejection and HATRED of Jesus Christ! Please understand, it was their "religious" law (NOT God’s law) that COMPELLED and INSPIRED them to order the Roman solders to murder Jesus Christ in the most cruel and brutal fashion known to man! But Jesus Christ asked His Father to FORGIVE these solders (Luke 23:34) simply because they TRULY did NOT know what they were doing! The Israelite Pharisee "Jews" ALSO did NOT know what they were TRULY doing, for had they KNOWN who Jesus Christ TRULY was they would NOT have crucified Him….
1Corinthians 2:8 KJV Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
But as horrible as this sin was it was NOT "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit"! So please understand; the sin of "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" will NOT be forgiven for TWO ages, and therefore would have to be something entirely different than the horrible sin of the cruel and brutal murder of Jesus Christ, which was forgiven! So what is this difference?
The realm of "spirit" is the energy FORCE and POWER of the Holy Spirit of God that regulates, maintains, and controls everything in ALL of "mother nature" in this physical creation. But speaking in "spiritual" terms, the Holy Spirit of God is ALSO the SPIRITUAL energy FORCE and POWER of God, but it is NOT the third "person" of the Godhead, as many believe that IT IS!
The Holy Spirit is simply the spiritual influence of God that compels, empowers, and INSPIRES the hearts and souls of believing saints. So when this spiritual force and POWER is knowingly spoken evil of and blasphemed against, then it has NO POWER of salvation simply because it was knowingly committed, and it also will NOT be forgiven for TWO ages! But the major difference is that salvation is (yes, IS) possible for the rest of mankind since it is POSSIBLE for them to accept and believe in Jesus Christ as their savior!
The rule and reign of the "unpardonable" sin is ONLY for TWO ages, and after these TWO ages the "unpardonable" sin will be INCLUDED with ALL MANNER of sin that will be FORGIVEN!
Again, I have to ask this question; what certain religion in today’s world INSPIRES certain evil men to knowingly deny Jesus Christ as their savior? As we all know, in today’s world these evil men are INSPIRED, driven, and compelled by their RELIGION to HATE Jesus Christ and to reject the resurrection of Jesus Christ! But in reality they have the religious mind-set to blasphemY against the Holy Spirit of God!
Yes, it is THIS religion that has the SAME stubborn religious mind-set of the Pharisees of Jesus Christ’s day that had the audacity and the gull to accuse Jesus Christ of having an unclean spirit! I believe it is this certain religion of the "Jews" and NOT A RACE of certain people that INSPIRES the REJECTION of Jesus Christ and the HATRED of Jesus Christ!
It is THIS certain religious-mindset of the "Jews" that were compelled and INSPIRED to write their own "bible" known as the Talmud; which is the most insane, vile, and disgusting book about Jesus Christ and the right ways of God! Therefore salvation is NOT POSSIBLE for these evil stubborn religious-minded men, since the heart of repentance is NOT granted for TWO ages to these evil men DRIVEN and INSPIRED by their religion to REJECT Jesus Christ and to HATE Jesus Christ!
I personally believe that certain so-called "Jews" of today are INSPIRED, compelled, and driven by their religion (not their RACE) to "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit", and to have the SAME religious insane mind-set of the Pharisees 2000 years ago that accused Jesus Christ of having an unclean Spirit!
But this ONE certain sin will be FORGIVEN for these certain evil religious-minded men AFTER two ages; which are "this world/age" and the "world/age to come", as Christ explained in Matthew 12:31-32. Yes, the time will come that these evil religious-minded men will willingly bow their knees and willingly make the confession that Jesus Christ is LORD! Carefully read Phil 2:10-11, and notice the little word "at"….
(KJV) That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; (11) And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
But now carefully read and BELIEVE the CORRECT translation of Phil 2:10-11, and notice the little word "in"….
(Concordant Literal Version) that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, (11) and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father.
Most modern churches have to CONFESS that they BELIEVE what Phil 2:10-11 is truly saying, but they also believe that this bowing and confessing of ALL unbelievers will NOT be sincere simply because it will be done TOO LATE, and was NOT done during their physical lives. How ironic it is for most modern churches to believe that God will NOT violate or interfere with the "free will" choices of men, but these same modern churches have no problem believing that God will force men AGAINST THEIR WILL to bow and confess that Jesus Christ is LORD.
The KJ translators also believed in this FLAWED premise since they used the deceptive phrase, "AT the name of Jesus". But the problem is, the little word "AT" was NOT in the original Greek text as shown by the Concordant Literal Version. Many translations say "IN the name of Jesus", except the KJV and only a few others. Bowing "AT the name of Jesus" implies an OUTWARD command or FORCED obedience, which defeats the TRUE worship from the heart.
But every knee bowing "IN the name of Jesus" implies an "entering into" of an intimacy and LOVE of the name of Jesus. It cannot mean anything BUT intimacy and LOVE; which is the true basis of the TRUE faith and the TRUE belief in all examples in the New Testament! It is NEVER used in the sense of "AT the name of Jesus"; EXCEPT the deliberate mistranslation in the KJ Bible of Philippians 2:10! This is another example as to WHY we should pay very close attention to the original inspired words of scripture, even the "insignificant" little words; "at" and "in"!
The incredible irony and dilemma for our modern churches that happen to believe in the so-called "free will" of man is that they are "forced" to NOT accept that a confession stating that "Jesus Christ is Lord" cannot be made UNLESS by the Holy Spirit, as explained in 1Corinthians 12:3….
(KJV) Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and [that] no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
Yes, it is the Holy Spirit that INSPIRES the confession that "Jesus is the Lord"; it is NOT inspired by a "free will" choice! This would mean that every tongue mentioned in Philippians 2:11 is inspired by the Holy Spirit, and it says that they make that confession "to the glory of God the Father". The glory of God the Father will be fully realized when His counsel (His PLAN) will STAND, and when He will do (yes, DO) His pleasure, as explained in Isaiah 46:10, and that happens when EVERY knee and EVERY tongue bows and confesses FROM THE HEART that "Jesus Christ is Lord" (to the glory of God the Father)!
It is hard for CARNAL hearts to believe that evil men that commit this horrible sin known as "blasphemy against of the Holy Spirit" will be forgiven by a merciful God, and this horrible sin is the SAME as accusing Christ as having an unclean spirit! Notice I said "carnal" hearts, and NOT "spiritual" hearts. Yes, the heart of a sovereign God is spiritually "big enough" to eventually forgive ALL MANNER of sin; which is WHEN the "unpardonable sin" will become "pardonable", but only AFTER two ages has served their divine PURPOSE!
Keep in mind that this ONE certain sin was applied during "this world/age", which was during the laws of Moses and the prophets up to the time of Jesus Christ. The prophets had the message of repentance to ISRAEL, but certain evil men that had the planted "seed/spirit" of HATRED of the RIGHT ways of God rejected this message of the prophets. According to Jesus Christ (Matt 12:32) these evil men spoke against the Holy Spirit and were NOT forgiven during "this world/age" (during the laws of Moses and the prophets). In 1Thes 2:14-15 the apostle Paul said this about the "Jews"….
(KJV) For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: (15) Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they please not God, and are contrary to all men:
The prophets went to Israel, and it would therefore HAVE to be evil Israelites known as "Jews" that KILLED their own (yes, their OWN) prophets! These evil ISRAELITE "Jews" were compelled and INSPIRED to kill their OWN prophets simply because by their NATURE these evil "Jews" do NOT please God, and by their nature are contrary (in opposition) to all men (1Thes 2: 15). I personally might also add; by their NATURE cannot repent, and by their NATURE have the planted "seed/spirit" of rejection and hatred of Jesus Christ, and by their NATURE will "blaspheme against the Holy Spirit"!
The term "Jew" can be confusing with an "uncertain" meaning, which is WHY it is an "invented" term to make the accepted "christian" difference with "Jew" and "Gentile", but for theological simplicity the term "Jew" does NOT have to be in our beloved KJ Bibles! The term "Jew" (H3062) simply means a "Judaite", or a descendent of Judah of the tribes of Israel. Yes, a "Jew" is simply an Israelite of the tribe of Judah!
These evil Israelite "Jews" that killed their OWN prophets were NOT forgiven during "this world/age" (during Mosaic laws and the prophets), and also will NOT be forgiven in the "world/age to come"; which is this AGE of deception that we live in NOW.
I believe it is simply religion that INSPIRES these evil men, but of course most are obviously of the same RACE; but that is NOT the point! The major point is this; RACE only proves their genetic ancestry, and I do NOT believe that the LAW of genetics PROVES and INSPIRES a certain rejection and hatred of Jesus Christ, and to speak EVIL of a sovereign God to deliberately "blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" of a sovereign God!
But I do believe a certain religion can PLANT a "seed/spirit" in the heart that will HATE Jesus Christ and the righteousness of God! It could be that most of today’s Jews are made up of racial Israelites, and also people known as "Edomites" that came from the "seed-line" of Esau/Edom; which are known today as Russian Jews. Yes, Russia is referred to as the "RED army", and "Edon" does indeed mean "red" (H123).
The purpose and theme of this article is that salvation is NOT possible for TWO ages for these evil men that are INSPIRED by a certain religion, but AFTER this present evil world/AGE of deception salvation will be POSSIBLE for these evil men.
God as the creator of all mankind is responsible for the destiny of these evil religious-minded men, but they will all be held accountable (as ALL men will be) for their wicked and deceptive ways, and they will all be resurrected along with the "unjust" (Acts 24:15) to face God and their judgment. Judgment by a merciful God is simply making things RIGHT, and after these evil men are judged, chastised, corrected, and made RIGHT with God that is WHEN the "un" will be taken away from "unpardonable", and their sins will become "pardonable" and actually be pardoned, and then they can actually be SAVED!
In conclusion; I have my own theories on how AGES begin and end. It could be that the first age of sinful man is from Adam to Noah, and the second age to Abraham, and the third age to Moses. The fourth age could be the age of the Mosaic temporary laws and of the prophets, and the fifth age could be this PRESENT evil age we live in NOW. The sixth age could be when the "manifestation of the sons of God" (Rom 8:19) will restore righteousness to this sin-filled world, and the religion that planted the "seed/spirit" of rejection and HATRED of Jesus Christ will "mysteriously" LOSE its POWER! The seventh age ("seventh" expresses completeness) would complete the "plan of the AGES". The sixth and seventh ages could be the glorious "ages of the ages" (found 20 times in the 1912 Weymouth translation); which could be the resurrections of ALL the "unjust" in all of history to restore (SAVE) man to the ultimate purpose of man’s creation to the GLORY of God the Father!
